Theres already a shitload of ev’s piled up on wrecking yards because the battery died after a few years and its cheaper for consumers to just get a new car instead of replacing the battery. The ev’s that are now essentially scrap also rarely get recycled. Because that would only cost wreckers more money. This had to change for ev’s to be a sustainable replacement for conventional cars.
